The policies below are the same for ALL CT Content Areas
Homework – The Career and Technology Courses require most of the work to be done in class. Teachers, however, may find it necessary to assign homework at a maximum of one day per week.
Classwork / Daily Grades / Daily Projects – A great amount of the work that you will receive credit for is completed in class. The Career and Technology Department has agreed to drop the lowest grade received for this section of grading
Recovery Policy – Students who wish to make up work past the acceptable due dates may consult with their Career and Technology teacher to do so. When missed work is completed, the recovery grade for a perfectly completed assignment will be 70%
Bonus Opportunities – Students are encouraged to Dress for Success. On Wednesdays, students who wear professional work attire will receive bonus points applied at the teacher’s discretion (for example: kakhi pants and a polo shirt, dress slacks and shirt, skirts with a blouse, dresses, ROTC uniform. Shorts, flip flops, jeans, and graphic t-shirts are not acceptable as professional dress.
